Breaking news The Deal! 2017-18 Season Blake Griffin Traded to the Pistons! Grade
It is amazing to find out that Blake Griffin was available. We never talked about Blake Griffin being traded.It was always the Andre Jordan and Lou Williams in speaking of DeAndre Jordan and Lou Williams the Clippers are willing to trade these two players as well they're taking offers they want draft picks and they want young players.
I think this is a pretty fair trade for both teams for the Clippers you're getting Avery Bradley he's very solid Tobias Harris also pretty solid and you're getting two draft picks not bad at all could it have been better maybe it's a surprise that they're trading him this early Blake Griffin just signed a big contract so this is coming as a huge surprise the Clippers are getting two starters that are ready to start right now you're also getting two draft picks for the future for the Pistons you're gonna add an all-star like Blake Griffin he wasn't an all-star this season but we know what he's capable of he can drop 20 30 points. He can get you 10 rebounds sometimes he can get you some assists sometimes he can get you a triple bubble a very explosive player is gonna bring people to the arena this is a very interesting trade because he meshes well with Andre Drummond because he can space the floor Drummond can go get all the rebounds so this is very interesting but what's even more interesting about this trade is the fact that DeAndre Jordan and Lou Williams are available.
So that means that the Cleveland Cavaliers. If they want Lou Williams and DeAndre Jordan is possible they're just gonna have to part ways with that next draft pick and throw in somebody else maybe even throw in Isaiah Thomas I don't know because the Clippers are clearly trying to clear some cat space and start over Isaiah is gonna be a free agent next season I don't know if they're willing to take Isaiah and I don't know if the Cavs are willing to make that trade if you're a Cavs fan do you want to see that trade go down because remember the Cavs have no defense they have no shot blocker they have no Center so the Andre Jordan would at least solve that problem that way when people get beat to the rim they have somebody back there to change a shot to do something and if you look at whoever's available at this trade deadline there's not that many bigs that the Cavs could realistically go after so this might be their only option when we're talking about the center position and then Lou Williams you've seen how solid he is he scores points he can drop 30 40 points so do you really need Isiah Thomas.
If you can get somebody to replace him to replace his scoring very interesting I'm not really sure what's gonna happen but this trade deadline is gonna be crazy the Clippers they're clearly ready to deal they're letting the NBA know right now bring us your draft pick and your young players and we're gonna deal these guys I am shocked let me know in the comments section what do you want to see happen do you think the Cavs deal is gonna happen would you trade Isiah Thomas and also let me know what teams around the league could potentially trade for DeAndre Jordan in lieu will if the Cavs don't do it [Applause] man lays them out black nowhere for you to hide keep holding on for dear life if you throw that kick one more time you know [Applause] skip that chick.
